Security Officer - Credential Check Services

As a Security Officer - Credential Check Services in BOISE, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will help manage entry activity, verify badges and/or credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service, support daily site operations, and reflect our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and document site access activity in support of security-related operations.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues through established communication channels when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or conditions that may require attention.
- Communicate with site contacts, delivery personnel, and/or vendors regarding arrival procedures, restricted areas, and general post instructions while supporting professional lobby and gate operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
