What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and/or the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate site personnel.
- Support daily location operations by observing truck traffic, delivery activity, and/or restricted areas, while following post orders and reporting incidents through required logs and reporting systems.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
