As a Security Officer Driver Entry Screener in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry activity, conduct screening procedures, and support a professional, welcoming atmosphere. This driving post offers the chance to stay active, use technology, and provide strong customer service while helping to deter security-related incidents. - Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and supporting access screening activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Screen individuals, personal belongings, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving designated areas in accordance with site policies and reported instructions.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner and report observations through appropriate site and Allied Universal channels.
- Monitor entry points, shipping and receiving areas, docks, and/or other assigned locations to help support authorized access and compliance with site rules.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to screening checkpoints, high-traffic areas, and other security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
