Security Officer Visitor Intake Specialist

As a Security Officer Visitor Intake Specialist in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location as a Front Desk professional, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor for security-related concerns, and support smooth daily operations through clear communication and outstanding customer service. - Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and front desk protocols at a commercial real estate location.
- Monitor lobby and entry activity, verify visitor access as directed, and assist with sign-in processes, badges, and visitor logs in accordance with property guidelines.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Answer questions, direct guests to the appropriate destination, and communicate with property management and/or building personnel regarding security-related concerns.
- Maintain an attentive presence at the front desk, observe surroundings for issues that may need response, and document incidents and/or daily activity as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
