Security Officer Dispatch

As a Security Officer Dispatch in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, and support timely responses to security-related concerns. This role combines strong customer service, clear communication, and technology use while helping to maintain a professional environment. - Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related support, and emergency communication activities at a financial institution location.
- Monitor alarms, cameras, phones, radios, and other communication systems to identify and report security-related concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Dispatch officers and/or appropriate personnel to incidents, service requests, and critical situations while maintaining clear, accurate communication with site contacts and first responders.
- Document incidents, calls for service, visitor activity, and other daily operations in logs and reports with attention to detail and site-specific protocols.
- Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining awareness of building operations, reporting unusual conditions, and following post orders for after-hours and restricted-area access.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
