Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with professionalism, working as part of a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, and acting with integrity.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout building common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with basic access control processes, and communicate clearly with tenants, guests, and/or contractors regarding site expectations.
- Document incidents, maintenance concerns, and security-related observations in a timely manner, and support property operations during routine activities and/or unexpected events.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
