Security Officer Patrol Communications Job in Scottsdale, Arizona

As a Security Officer Patrol Communications in Scottsdale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a premier hotel and resort location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for guests, residents, and staff. You will respond to concerns, communicate professionally, and provide outstanding customer service while representing Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, members, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a hotel and resort location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, club facilities, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency services as needed.
- Monitor access to the property and support established visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures while maintaining a welcoming presence.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
